Expanse

Getting started

Navigating the panel

A tour of the main areas of Expanse Panel: sidebar, team switcher, and where to find help inside the app.

Navigating the panel

The panel is built around teams and services. Once you are signed in, you will usually pick a team (if you have more than one), then work inside that team’s resources. The left sidebar is the fastest way to move between areas.

The sidebar

The exact list can change as we add products, but you will typically see groupings like:

  • Game servers — your game hosting plans, console links, and related actions.
  • VPS (or similar) — cloud virtual machines and their controls.
  • Domains (sometimes under Networking) — names, DNS, transfers, and zone settings.
  • Billing — balance, invoices, and payment methods (only for users whose role allows it).
  • Team (or Members / Settings) — who is on the team, roles, and organization settings.

If something is missing, your role might hide it, or the team has not ordered that type of product yet.

Team switcher

At the top of the dashboard, you can switch which team you are working in. This matters because:

  • Invoices and balance are per team, not per person.
  • Services belong to the team you are viewing. Ordering while the wrong team is selected sends the new service to that team.
  • You might have one team for yourself and one for a community you run — check the name in the switcher before you pay or delete anything.

Profile and sign out

Open your profile (often your picture or initial) to view account security, sign out, or in some cases manage organizations. This is different from team settings, which are about the whole team.

Getting help from inside the app

  • Use the status and support entry points the panel offers (if shown) to reach official channels. See Support and contact.
  • The order and Billing areas link closely together. If a payment or invoice looks wrong, start from Billing overview and your invoice list before guessing.

Keyboard and mobile

  • On this help site, you can use the search shortcut from the top of any article. In the product app, we aim for a readable layout on phones as well; use the same sidebar menu, usually behind a “menu” or “hamburger” icon on small screens.
