Team
Team overview
The Team area in Expanse Panel: members, ownership, and how team access fits with services and billing.
Team overview
The Team (sometimes labeled Members, Settings, or similar) area is where you see who belongs to your organization, which role they have, and, for owners, how to invite or remove people. Everything your team owns—servers, domains ordered through the product, and invoices—stays on the team, even when a single person “does all the work” today.
What you can usually do (depending on role)
- View members and their roles (for example, owner, admin, member, biller).
- Send invites to new people, if you are allowed to.
- Change roles for members (owners often have the broadest range of actions; some actions protect the last owner or prevent self-lockout on purpose).
- Leave a team or, for owners, transfer ownership if the product offers it — follow the in-panel flow only.
Team vs. your personal sign-in
| You | The team | |
|---|---|---|
| Login | One user account | Not a second password |
| Belongs to | Can join several teams with invites | A shared wallet for that group’s Expanse services |
| Visible data | What your role allows | Services and billing the role allows |
How this ties to billing
- Invoices, balance, and auto-pay are team-level. People whose role includes billing (often owner and biller) can open the Billing area. Others may not see it at all. That is by design, not a bug.
